DORE DORE - Rainbow Cake Cafe where Koreans Love

DORE DORE Thank You Cake
Dore Dore is a dessert cafe well known for rainbow cake.
There are two kinds of rainbow cakes you can find.
Feels Good Cake & Thank You Cake

Dore Dore that I visited today is located in Seoul Express Bus Terminal.
Since this place is connected to Shinsegae Department store, underground shopping mall, bus terminal and metro station, the cafe seems more busy and uncomfortable compare to the other branches.

What people praises for Dore Dore cakes is because of the look!
It doubles the flavor just by looking at the cakes.
However,Yes! the price is a bit expensive compare to the other cafe.
It cost about $8~$9 per piece.
$50 for 15in. cake and $75 for 20in. cake.

I personally do love this cafe but I think this branch is for people who needs to wait for the bus.
If you are looking for cozy place, I recommend you to visit other branch rather than visiting cafe right middle of bus terminal.
But if you are looking for cafe to seat and chat after visiting Shinsegae Department store or underground shopping mall, I recommend you to visit this place than Starbucks.

Central City is located in Banpo, Gangnam and you can get to this place by using subway.
Once you get off at Seoul Express Bus Terminal station, you can find Shinsegae Department store and Central City mall.

There are three large book store brands in Korea.
1. Bandi and Lunis
and
2. Kyobo Book Center
3. Young Poong Book Store

The size of this Bandi and Lunis book store is huge and you can mostly find any kinds of Korean books and international books and magazines as well.

BigBang G Dragon's Pop Art in Seoul Museum of Art

오전 5:29 missh 0 Comments

I've forgotten to post this big event that K-pop lovers might like.
Few months ago, I went to Seoul Museum of Art  (Seoul Sirip Misulgwan) to see G-Dragon's art work.
This museum is near City Hall Station and it takes about 3-5 min. walking distance.

The title of this exhibition is PeaceMinusOne
Peace+Minus+One
(Coexistence of ideal peace & the actual reality.)

As I remember, it took about $10 (USD) per person for the entrance fee,
and audio guide was available for $3.

We were also able to see some of GD's collections.

Some of sets of their music video.
( I had no idea that these art pieces were actually a part of set from their music video but..
thats what BigBang Fans told me.)

had no idea..
(Someone with an audio guide! please tell me what this is... )

Generally, it was interesting to see how an musician gets involved in to different types of art and how he presents. It was great to see how GD has interest and potential not only on the music or fashion but to spend his time on this art exhibition.

Rather this exhibition was one of the image marketing or a trend of celebrities being a photographer or painter, I think this exhibition was successful to show his passion and his love of art as a name of "ARTIST"
